HELP REFUGEES AT THE BORDER
with Zoe Winkler Reinis and This is About Humanity
We all have seen the treatment of refugees at the border on the news. It is one thing to watch it on tv; it is something entirely different to drive down from LA, stand next to the walls built at our border, and hear the families' stories in shelters firsthand. Zoe Winkler Reinis saw the news stories and decided she had to do something about it. With her friends Elsa Collins and Yolanda Walther-Meade, she started This is About Humanity to help people at the border. They’ve made dozens of trips and provided so many goods and services to improve the situation there: from building learning centers, giving food, connecting migrants with immigration lawyers, sponsoring an immigrant family settling in the US, and MORE. These women are making a significant impact and you can help.
